We are eagerly looking forward to visiting the resort soon again and hope to stay in one of the floating cottages. The staff at the property is very helpful and well organised. The floating cottages and the old cottages(more than 100 years old) next to the backwaters are a must stay. We had a chance to meet the gracious owners of the property and were bowled over by their humility and their sincere desire to make our stay a truly unforgettable experience. Our kids were happy cycling on the cycling tracks and our 2 year old was mesmerised by the beautifully curated butterfly garden. The in-house massage centre is a must visit. A ride in the resorts houseboat down the backwaters transports you to a different world all together. The resort is situated bang on the backwaters and the pleasing breeze rejuvenates your senses. The food experience leaves you asking for more. You are bowled over as soon as you enter the resort with its open air reception area surrounded by water bodies and beautifully lit up in the evenings with floating candles. We took a short trip of 4 nights and it was an unforgettable experience. I reiterate and promise that every penny and moment spent here will be worthwhile and a life time experience. You would easily require one entire day to explore this property and its offerings. Mine ran out of space and I had to delete apps at the last moment. If you are headed here ensure that you have your favourite camera and enough space on your mobile. The property also offers usage of canoes and pedal boats at the aqua centre, fish feeding and an access to swimming pool. It had breakfast, boat backwater cruise, lip smacking local flavoured tea and coffee with snacks by the lakeside the view you can’t get anywhere else. Costs you around whooping 18,000 INR including taxes (I know it’s quite a lot but do read it out till the end and check the pics I clicked here). It’s an expensive place to stay in but believe you me every penny spent will be worth it. This property is approximately 32 kms away from Holiday Inn and is 62 kms away from the Kochi Airport & takes about 2.5 hours to reach the airport.
